Sports Conversation Starters for Your Workweek
Dec 21, 2025
Holiday surprises can be fun, but don't make the mistake of leaning on surprises in your conversations. It happens inadvertently and often with the best intentions, but when we leave too much to chance we miss opportunities to connect.
That might seem vague, but here's a good example, "Guess what?"
No one wants to guess what you're thinking. No one wants to get it wrong. No one wants to take a chance and run the risk of embarrassing themselves. Set the expectations up front. Invite the conversation with clarity. If you're struggling with things to talk about try these sports conversation starters this week.

And if you want a break from holiday movies or family conversations on Christmas, there are three NFL games on tap.
